In the last three newsletters, we’ve explored affirmations, rewriting deep-rooted beliefs, and a mental diet needed for change. We also covered how gratitude not only amplifies your life emotionally but makes shifting into fulfillment easier. You can find all recent newsletters here: https://evolvee.me/. Now, you’ve probably heard about manifestation, affirmations, and beliefs before, but what do they actually mean? After years of working with them and becoming the "creator" of my own reality, my perspective has shifted. Not into a new belief, but a knowing, an understanding. If you're ready to dive deeper, buckle up. This will challenge everything you’ve learned so far and might even bring up resistance, but that’s where the real transformation happens. But by the end, you'll understand that letting go is the key to manifesting your dream life. That removing, not adding, is what truly matters. And in practice, it’s much easier than stacking on more things. The Movie of Your LifeImagine this: life is like an ongoing, continuous movie, a long one. Think of The Lord of the Rings trilogy. It’s more than nine hours long, and if you’re watching the extended version, it’s over eleven hours (I personally prefer the longer extended version). Now, imagine watching this movie, but instead of it flowing continuously, it gets interrupted by commercials every five minutes. These commercials are long, drawn-out, and disruptive. You never quite reach the next chapter of the movie because you're constantly stuck in interruptions. They become blockages, making it harder to move forward. And when you finally do, the whole story feels unclear, blurry and hard to make sense of. The flow is broken, and the movie no longer feels the same. There’s less joy and more frustration. Now, what if life works the same way. "What do you mean, Tomas? My life is longer than nine hours." Yes, I know. But let’s assume your life is an adventurous movie, one filled with drama, action, love, thriller, comedy, and a strong touch of adventure. Just like in a movie, where the story is pre-written, your life might also follow a script. Think about it. You’re not just the main character of this story, you’re also the writer and director. Every person you meet, every event that happens, is part of something larger, already unfolding. But it doesn’t stop there, you’re also the audience, sitting back and observing it all happen. The story plays out on its own, yet it feels like you, as the character, are making everything happen. But in reality, it’s all unfolding, moment by moment. If this feels confusing, don’t worry. And even if it doesn’t fully click yet, that’s okay. Here’s what matters: The less you try to control, the easier life flows. Life, just like the movie, is an unfolding flow. It’s one dance, one continuous unfolding. But just like the interruptions in a movie ruin its flow, resistance, fear, and doubts disrupt the natural flow of your life. The Disaster MovieMost people who embark on a journey of self-transformation struggle to manifest what they truly desire. They try everything: visualisations, affirmations, scripting, journaling, but often find that none of it works. Why? Because when instant results don’t come, hope fades. Doubt creeps in. And trust in their own ability to create the life they want starts to crumble. When I started this journey eight years ago, I wrote down countless desires: money, a fulfilling job, meaningful relationships, and so much more. I even wrote myself a check for €100M, which I still keep in my wallet today, not as a wish, but as a reminder of how far I’ve come. Looking back, I realized something surprising: I barely manifested 10% of what I wrote down. The things I truly desired, the ones I didn’t force, just happened, effortlessly. Why? Because the feeling behind those desires was natural. I didn’t have to push or control. I just knew they would happen. Some were visions I let go off, only for them to unfold years later. For the things that required deeper transformation, like rewriting beliefs, it was never a single, magical moment. It was a gradual process. Like building my startup, the results came through failures, lessons, and incremental shifts. Each step reinforced the next, shaping me and the outcome simultaneously. But here’s the challenge: Most people resist this natural flow. They force, control, and cling to their desires, disrupting the process of manifestation. The truth is, you are the only one standing in your way. Doubt, fear, and limiting beliefs disrupt life’s flow, like endless commercials interrupting a beautiful movie. Every day spent in resistance feels like adding yet another commercial, delaying your dreams and goals. The more you cling, the further you drift from the flow of your true life, a cinematic masterpiece waiting to unfold. Instead of an Oscar-winning adventure, your life turns into a Disaster Movie. The key to transforming your story to an ongoing wonderful movie isn’t about rewriting every line, but learning how to let the movie play freely. In the next section, I’ll show you how releasing resistance unlocks the life you truly desire. Why Letting Go Unlocks the Flow of LifeOver the past few newsletters, we’ve gone on a journey together. From using affirmations to shift your mindset, to uncovering and rewriting limiting beliefs, to practicing a mental diet and tapping into the power of gratitude. Each step builds on the one before it:
Now, as we move forward, it all comes down to one final step: letting go. Letting go doesn’t mean giving up or ignoring your desires. It’s about releasing resistance, doubts, and fears, the commercials that interrupt the movie of your life. Allowing life to unfold naturally, without forcing it. Let’s dive into why letting go is the key to unlocking the flow of life and how it transforms everything you’ve been working toward. The Essential Key: Letting GoSo, what does surrendering and letting go actually mean? It’s simple: stop fighting. Stop fighting with yourself. Stop fighting the universe and the natural flow of things. Stop resisting and pushing against reality. Letting go means releasing the need to control everything. It’s like entering a cinema, grabbing some popcorn and soda, and sitting back in a comfortable armchair, the middle row in the center of an IMAX theater. You let go of all worries and just enjoy the movie of your life. When you desire something, it’s like catching a glimpse of a future scene in the movie of your life. You visualize that part of the movie, and when it happens, it feels like you created it. But in reality, that scene was always there, waiting for you. It’s part of a natural flow, unfolding moment by moment. The future and the past? They're just mental concepts. Everything exists in the now. When you step back and let life flow, you realize that it’s not about controlling or forcing things to happen but about aligning with what’s already unfolding. If you knew that everything that happens in your life was already part of this natural unfolding, out of your control, how would you live? Would you stop fighting against the flow? Would you trust that life is leading you exactly where you need to be, even if you can’t see it yet? I bet the answer is YES. But how can I be so sure about this? Do I have proof? No, I can’t tell you what’s “true” or “false.” What I can share is what I’ve experienced. The "me" that thought it was in control of the movie, steering every scene, was just an illusion, a mental concept of control. The truth is, life flows on its own, and the more I resisted it, the harder it became. When I let go, the scenes in my movie naturally aligned. The desires I had glimpsed came into my life almost effortlessly. Even the commercials, the fears and challenges, turned out to be stepping stones. They weren’t interruptions but part of the bigger picture. So instead of clinging to desires or resisting unwanted outcomes, I began to yield to the flow. Letting go isn’t about giving up on what you want. It’s about releasing the grip you have on what you think should happen. It’s about trusting that life knows better than your mind ever could. Tools like affirmations, visualization, and rewriting beliefs aren’t about adding something new to your life. They’re about removing the commercials, the unnecessary resistance, doubts, and limiting beliefs, that interrupt your movie. Think of it like clearing trash from a river. The water is always flowing, but the trash slows it down and creates resistance. The more trash you clear, the faster and smoother the river flows. Affirmations, for example, help you replace negative thoughts with empowering ones, which clears the mental obstacles blocking your path. Visualization allows you to focus on the next chapter of your movie, keeping you aligned with the flow. Rewriting beliefs peels away layers of fear and self-doubt, helping you move forward without interruption. The result? A continuous flow of life, free of unnecessary distractions, allowing you to reach the next chapter of your journey with ease and clarity. So now that we know how to yield into a chapter of our movie (desire), rewrite beliefs, and peel back layers of resistance (removing the commercials), the question is: how do you bring this into your daily life? How do you take this understanding and turn it into action? Let’s break it down into simple, practical steps to help you fully embrace letting go and allow life to unfold naturally. Practical Steps to Let GoWhen the time is right, the lord will make it happen - Isaiah 60:22 What helped me surrender and let go was recognizing the patterns when I looked back on the past few years of my personal transformation journey. I began to understand how things unfolded exactly as they should, leading me to better things. Challenges, hardships, even the worst moments of my life, brought lessons that helped me grow and guided me to a much better place. You wouldn’t be reading this if it wasn’t meant to happen, and I wouldn’t be sharing this if I hadn’t gone through what I did. So, I started letting go more and accepting every chapter, every section of the movie, as divine. I let go of the specific outcomes I was seeking and began to enjoy the present moment more, trusting that when the time is right, I’ll enjoy those moments too. What I realized is that the beauty lies in the chapter, not the end of the movie. Letting go requires daily action, just like any other habit, and now I want to share my two favorite practices that helped me let go the most. 1) Observe and let go - MindfulnessTo understand when to let go and when you're holding on, you need to develop some level of awareness. Awareness is like a flashlight in the darkness. Without it, you can’t see anything, but the more light you have, the more of the room you can see. As a starter, you don’t need to light up the whole room, just focus on when doubts, fears, or resistance appear. If you haven't read my newsletter, 3 Simple Steps to Stop Battling Your Mind and Find Inner Freedom, I share practical tips on observing your mind. But the principle is simple: pay attention to the thoughts, emotions, or preferences that arise when things don’t go as expected. Instead of controlling or changing them, simply notice them without judgment. When a negative thought or resistance arises, pause and take a deep breath. Imagine the thought as a cloud passing in the sky, let it drift away without holding onto it. By practicing mindfulness, you detach from the mental chatter and allow life to flow naturally without interference. Repeat this over and over, and you’ll notice that, over time, it bothers you less. When life feels tough, trust that it’s happening for a reason, even if it’s beyond your control. Ask yourself: Can I control this, or is it a lesson I need to learn and move through? If you can’t control it, there’s no point in fighting it. The more you let go and notice how things flow, the more you reinforce the belief that life unfolds naturally. With time, this practice will help you let go more easily, bringing a deeper sense of peace and allowing life to flow as it’s meant to. Combining mindfulness with letting-go affirmations can strengthen this practice even more. While mindfulness helps you observe and release resistance, affirmations act like a safety net, protecting you from falling into spirals of doubt or fear. Together, they create a powerful habit to keep you aligned with the natural flow of life. Let’s explore how affirmations can help you let go and surrender with ease. 2) Letting Go AffirmationsAs you might know, I’m a big fan of affirmations and have been using them for many years. Last year, I focused on affirmations to help me let go and surrender, and the results were amazing. I noticed I stopped worrying so much. I trusted my path more. The affirmations I repeated daily became a safety net, catching me whenever doubts crept in, guarding me from falling into the commercials we talked about earlier. This habit kept me grounded while working on my startup, MemoChat, a project I’ve failed at many times before. Affirmations helped me let go of the need to control every outcome and instead trust the process. If we failed? Fine, what can we learn from it? If we found a solution? Great, let’s navigate forward. This mindset, backed by affirmations, kept us moving forward, trusting that we were always on the right path. Now, I’d like to share this tool with you because I believe affirmations, combined with the mindfulness we talked about earlier, can:
I understand that surrendering and letting go might feel uncomfortable, it’s a natural reaction from the ego, which always tries to protect you. But consider this: wouldn’t it feel better to jump into the passenger seat, let someone else drive, and simply navigate the road as it unfolds? Imagine living with less worry, less stress, and more freedom in the present moment. Instead of waiting years to be happy, you’d start enjoying the process now. You'll notice that manifestation isn't something you do, but something that happens through and with you. It's not something that works sometimes, for some people. But all the time, in an ongoing flow. Connect with yourself within, yield into the natural flow of life, and let the story of your movie unfold to win its Oscar-worthy ending. Thank you for reading this far, and joining me on this path of flow, freedom and happiness. If you read this far, I want to end this letter with one last thing: You are always on the right path and everything that happens to you, happens for you. Love, - Tomas |
